You ought to have a Go Pro on your helmet, so we can see videos of your outings in the Tuscan hills.

The wife has one (actually a DJI ) on her mobility scooter which is excellent for stability even on very uneven ground.

This was on the news

It must be hard to come back to the uk.

We had to cancel a trip away in uk due to the bad weather.

On a positive note, all my rain butts are now full and I have 4000L of water ready for the next dry spell, in 2025. :banghead:

I really did not want to leave, but things need doing at home and my muscles need time to recover from the workout! Riding twice a day and walking up and down hills for 10 days is excellent exercise.

Every leaving creates the opportunity to return so maybe I will drift back south in November. Maybe go by car and take Mary and pup for a week or two.  All depends on when they come and install the solar.

Still, I have created some lovely memories, met old friends and made new ones - can't be bad!

A lot of our forum visitors are also interested in Tuscany.
Views have leapfrogged AI and Close up stuff into second place….  :applause:

You got to go back and take more photos Chris…if only to stimulate the forum.

Lol, if they paid 10p per view I could afford to go more often!

Just got back from another 10 days in Tuscany - wonderful sunny weather and not too hot - perfect time of year. Travelled very light so no space for camera - just a couple of pics from phone. I rode twice a day, so not really a lot of time to seek out views not already in this thread. I'll try better next time!

Did take the Pivo with me but still unsuccessful in getting good footage or even stills  -  it keeps losing track of the horse and failing to respond to the remote. I will sell it off and get a tracking device capable of taking the weight of the video recorder and the D610 - like the Ziron YT2000 - it will carry 2 kg. Otherwise I have to rely on people and their phones to provide video/photo.

Easyjet now flying from Southend Airport to Pisa - result!!
