https://nikonrumors.com/2018/04/16/nikon-to-announce-a-new-nikkor-600mm-f-5-6-pf-lens-soon.aspx/ If it's as good as the 300mm f/4 PF then it should be worth a close look.

I think if I were to spend more time in hides this would be the lens for me....depending on price of course!

With effective VR, good high ISO and a D500 I would have thought it would be perfect. The 300mm f/4.0 is pretty keenly priced presumably the 600 would be likely similar price structure, weight and size proportionate with the 300 too.

Well it does seem a good product, however I have long since deleted long telephoto lenses from my plans. Seems to me it's an exponential way of spending a lot, for limited returns. Preferring to concentrate on more interesting (to me) and challenging branches of photography. I have yet to try out my pano head, maybe next weekend in Derbyshire? At the Swallet waterfall if the trees have greened up a bit... I went about three weeks ago and it was flooded, the trees were bare, no pano.

Looks like a good lens for wildlife. We wait for the price!

I enjoyed looking at the rumor article until I saw the 12,000 + US dollar price tag of it's f4 cousin - I wonder what they mean when they say considerably less expensive? Less weight, less money, could be nice for some of our bird stalkers!

Well the 300mm PF lens is only somewhere around $1000....significantly cheaper and lighter than its predecessors. So the hope is that, as this proposed 600mm is the same construction technology as the 300PF lens, the saving in weight and cost will also be significantly cheaper than its predecessors. We will have to wait and see.

Do You think I could buy one with my £20.50 cause it will need to be that price for me to get one.

We will have to wait patiently until Nikon release details, but I doubt £20.50 will be quite enough. Perhaps if you put that sum in a high interest savers account, by the time it is released you will be able to buy the lens AND a D850?
