I have had a few occasions when, during writing or replying, I needed to visit the gallery or home page to check an EXIF, and when I get back to where I thought my post was------ it's gone![]() |

Yes it is possible - I built a routine to solve that on one of the other fora - some time ago now, I'll have to rake back and find it. |

I just checked - the editor autosave function is working here so you should be able to just go back to the post you were writing and find it intact - as you write in the editor it saves the post to your local storage - write something in the editor and then right click and select Inspect (Q) - select Storage on the top menubar of the new window that opened at the bottom of the screen - then select Local Storage on the left menu - then the line for nikondslr.uk and you should see two or three lines which show the current contents of the local store - any text you have typed in an editor box should be here in a condensed form. The software uses this to populate the editor box IN THE SAME THREAD ONLY when you return later |
Current theme is Modern editor
