As I previously posted a while back I have been running my D500 with a Tamron 150-600g2 and been quite happy with it but last week I went after a gitzo CF tripod I had seen advertised locally , during the pre sales online chat the lady mentioned she had a couple of big Nikon lenses to sell as well , . Her dad had recently passed away and she needed the  room ..and these were all the prices she asked for,, and all items in as new condition
to cut it short I bought a gitzo tripod and monopod for £60
A really right stuff large ball head for £40
A 200-400 f4 Vr for £250
A 500mm f4 Vr for £250
To be honest I walked away in a daze , the Tamron is with Wex as no longer needed .and I’m getting to grips with how to cope with all this heavy stuff ..pics to follow

Quiet chuffed in fact on the selling the Tamron for cash deal with Wex I actually made £100 profit on what I paid for the lens ,making the Nikon lens deal even better

I’ve had some good prices from WEX over the years. Giving the same amount in cash as part exchange is a real bonus.
