Congrats Ed. Just don't let your wife get ahold of the iPad too early in the game or you will just have fond memories of the iPad. :sssshh:

I haven't been on the family iPad for months since my wife got very attached to the device.

Well it seems I am very lucky in that respect, she who must be obeyed is not even slightly interested in anything electronic or computerish. (looky a new word)
I bought her a very expensive laptop and she looked at it maybe twice after I got it up and running. she dose not even use cruise control in her car . I was very surprised when she took to a kindle, but I have to do all the upkeep on it as she will not. sooooo I think my macs are safe. :sssshh:

There are many new, end of range iPad2 units around at great prices.
I think you deserve your own one. :-)

Hi
I found mine on Ebay, there are many ipad2s and 3s there to be had at good prices
I saved about $250. with free shipping and no sales tax.

I am trying a Griffin survivor case for mine, just installed it  It has a built in screen protector so no sticky stuff  NICE  I see no issues with it changing the quality of the pictuue on the screen or the rainbow effect of the past. i like it as it should keep the screen clean and dust free and no smudges.

:applause:

I will update this review if any nasty things happen or good things for that matter:diggingahole:

when you find yourself in a hole, a wise person would stop digging

be well

Ed
