| Mmmm not here it isn't. I HAVE checked - TWICE! I think the main added feature is the ability to bend and stretch a panorama to fill the frame instead of cropping it. Not sure what that process does for straight lines? They would do well focusing their collective minds on getting the stitching software to align the images in the first place, or allow the user to mark alignment points manually. Nine times out of ten when I ask LightRoom to stitch some images together it falls on it's face. I do allow at least a third of the frame overlap with plenty of features in the images, even with clear images which overlap 80% it fails.  Just downloaded the latest minor update of PhotoShop CC 2015, if that were any consolation. Also an update of Apple's RAW converters for a host of newish cameras, Probably not the D5 or D500 of course, that will probably be next year...

| Updating as I type! Perhaps they held off with mine to fine tune the stitching feature!  Look forward to trying it out,thanks JK.

| I have standalone (perpetual) Lightroom 6 license. I had major problems with it on one of my El Capitan machines. Eventually had to uninstall using the Adobe uninstall, reinstall as a trial and upgrade to the full new version then give it my license key. I would have thought that Adobe would have got this right by now!

| Much as I like Lr, that will see me move to an alternative software. There are viable options now. After the last import update fiasco I doubt Adobe will meddle too much with that aspect of Lr. Although to be honest, I hadn't noticed any problem with the import, I STILL don't know exactly what the issue was. Perhaps because I don't actually import the files, my files stay right where I can see them. For Adobe to revert a major aspect of software like they did with the import 'feature' suggests to me they are responsive. I am told Capture One is a viable alternative now, although I haven't actually looked at it.

| CaptureOne Pro v9 is very good but more complex to learn than Lightroom as the interface has lots of hidden features. The image quality is superior to Lightroom in my opinion. I use Lightroom as my DAM but I am moving towards MediaPro. It is not as nice as LR but doesnt have all the issues I have with Adobe software and their subscription model. There is now a book for Capture One Pro that explains it very well. http://www.amazon.com/Capture-One-Pro-Development-Processing/dp/1937538818/ It is available as an ebook or printed copy. PhaseOne also have a lot of very good tutorials on YouTube.

| I know it's a dead duck now but I still miss Bibble, I liked the subtle adjustments it was so good at esp. with the IR images where the whites are so delicate. I understand the Nikon software has some nice features but it's not PhotoShop, when it comes to heavy lifting, layers and cloning and all the clever stuff it does so well. I understand in the nikon software, there are zones which can be treated to individual tonal adjustment, that would be useful to me. Lightroom doesn't seem to have anything like that. It doesn't seem to do 'subtle'!

| Capture One Pro is from PhaseOne. Nikon also have the new verion of the old Capture NX which is called Capture NX-D. The old Bibble software is now called Corel Aftershot Pro. Since the take over by Corel there have been some changes and advances but also some issues. Thes will be fixed in time. For me the CaptureOne Pro software provides me with what I need for my RAW processing whose output in TIGG or JPG I then move to Photoshop CS6 if I need any final editing.
