The posts are as found, the posts have not been edited while creating the archive except for correcting the occasional obvious typo.

It's uncanny how some of the wishes have been incorporated in the new models.

Looking back at the comments and wishes is very interesting, to me at least.

I am looking on this as a practice run before I tackle the lens threads.

There is plenty to work on already JK, in the 2000 to 2006 there was no separate lens section. The lens threads are mixed up with the general topics. I will start sifting through them later today.

I think I will have to treat them as separate threads, rather than bunching them together like the Wishlist.

What I have wondered about is whether there needs to be a separate lens section for legacy stuff, set as read only. Otherwise the normal lens section will get very cluttered very quickly.

I could then create an index topic like the one I did in the old forum so members can find stuff.

I think that worked well, although I don't know how many actually used it.

I used it a few times to check out specs of various lenses and what user eperiences with the lenses were.
