As some will know I went on holiday on Sunday to East Yorkshire .. and arrived about dinner time , by early evening I was suffering from bad chest pains and have suffered a heart attack . Rushed into castle hill hospital in hull and underwent surgery to fit a stent which has improved things but I still need further surgery so it looks like photography is on a back burner for the foreseeable future as I can just about walk unaided

Modern surgery is very good.  Hope that you recover soon and that the next bout of surgery rectifies the problem.
I am sure we will see you back and 100% fit soon.
BTW:  Hospital meals wont be good for feeding to the birds.  After eating the stodge they serve up they wont be able to take off.

Get well soon.

The hospital food was superb jk , it was more like a luxury all inclusive .. I think I was lucky being taken to that one supposed to be a centre of excellence and I can well believe it ..feeling quite a lot better this morning and far more mobile as Chris says take it easy it will happen

It's a bit much using a heart attack as an excuse because you couldn't get good pics because of the weather.

Thanks Iain and Eric , feel a bit better each day ,but I hate being restricted luckily I still have my Panasonic g80 and Leica 100-400 which is a lightweight set-up that produces good results ..  not being able to drive for 4 weeks is also a problem but I might get round that with friends and family help . At least I'm still alive

I'm sure you will make a full recovery and be back to normal in no time.  I know several people who had had similar and they have all recovered well.  Modern heart surgery is amazing.
