For those who like macro work this would seem to be a wonderfully useful lens. https://www.dpreview.com/products/venus/lenses/venus_laowa_100_2p8_macro It provides magnification to x2 as well as being useful as an ordinary 100mm f2.8 lens |

Nice lens JK, it can be found not that far from here at UK Optics, Clitheroe. https://www.ukdigital.co.uk/laowa-100mm-f28-2-1-ultra-macro-apo-lens-nikon.html I have no connection, save a (relatively) local firm who I have found to be very friendly and helpful. I seem to remember Michael Erlewine has tried it and kept it... At the price it's very competitive. |
