Have I missed a software update? When replying to post using quote, the referenced post is shrunk to a column...images and all.
I really like that effect .....makes it like a blog within a forum. Makes it easier to follow.

Nice change.

Lol - yes, you missed it

JK wanted the quoted pics smaller, but the only way to do that is to shrink the box they are displayed in - I like the effect too. it makes this forum unique!

Since the mod is on the display routine, it also works retrospectively on all previous quotes.

Glad you like it Eric.
I asked Chris to make the changes as it becomes really difficult to find the original image post when the subsequent replies have the image the same size.
If you have other likes or suggestions then please feel free to make them.  Just send me an PM and Chris is very quick and good at making the changes once they are specified.

Looks like we have everyone agreeing it has been a good change.
:-)

I would like to see the text run in a wider box but Chris says that if you shrink the image then the text has to go in a smaller width box as well.

What? Like this -

just quote the relevant words... Use the quote icon in the toolbar and type or paste in the words you want.

Lol - if you can navigate Nikon menus, the toolbar should be a doddle!
