I wanted to get this file to you at full Rez But I guess help is needed.
This was taken last nite. A D4 with a Nikon VR 300 mm 2.8G lens + A tele 2xIII extender.
The EX f9 1/100 sec with Autio (iso 8000) and converted jpg in Capture NX2.
I would like to hear what your thoughts are as far as the noise looks.

Well at that resolution it looks good!
What you need to do is start an Album in the Gallery. Once you have done that you can upload a lot of images and display them here as you wish. You can also upload much larger images to the gallery than you can display here.

First time for me that I saw an image taken with the D4 by other than nikon-sponsored photographers. Thanks Ralph. How do you like the camera?

Ed,
Trying to post a larger one in my gallery. There are Bugs flying around the Bird on the roof of the bird house to the left. The look like white spots but they are bugs. That and the noise impresses me. I like the camera very much. It fires like a machine gun in fast gear. The file size is a little smaller than D3x, but what a difference in sharpness, color and noise.

Having uploaded an image, navigate to it and select one of the provided URL's on the right marked by the red arrow in this screenshot. copy the URL, Then paste it on the post window where you want the image.

Great site Ralph. I'm undecided yet as to whether or not I should wait for a possible D400 introduction into the lineup, but I becoming impressed with peoples' opinions of the high burst rates and low noise at high ISO settings of the D4. Also, the ability to autofocus with a 2X telextender and an f4 lens is very tempting. While the D800 has seemingly unbeatable resolution, I'm not much into portrait, macro, or landscape photography.

The image looks very clean but at that res it's to see but at 800 ISO there should be no problem with noise.

800 iso never bothered me - this is 8000.

I would do that if I could. Know of any way it could be done? I did post a larger one my gallery but still can't see the bugs.

I think Ralph that you have to use a program that permits transfer of large files. Then you email a link to that file and whoever you designate can download the full image to their computer. JK and I did that once with one of my photos. - EdM.

An easy way is to take it up to 1:1 full res in your favourite viewer, then do a screenshot of an area you would like to discuss.

I just put up a crop of 100% one that I took at 12,800 ISO Taken in the rain and no so good lighting.It's in my Gallery as tester -- Check out the Exif for all readings.
