Interesting Judith, way beyond me but nice to know about, I have always thought a nice big sensor is better than these piffling little things we use!

Can you come up with a 10" by 8" next? Must be possible because digital Xray plates are bigger than that. They have good resolution.

Hi Judith-

Where have you been? We've missed you.

Don't think I'm up for star photography though :-).

Cheers,

Tom

"a device with a 112 megapixel CCD, 96mmx96mm in size, black and white, with no Bayer mask or filter of any type"

And with the other characteristics it sounds like something that could be adapted for general use.
They seem to also want to make the CCD to fit ordinary cameras.
Sounds like a good idea. I wonder if they can sell it to a major camera manufacturer.

I didn't like the ergonomics and the thing doesn't have any attachments for a camera strap???

Yo Judith, how is the world treating you :-)

Camera strap?!! Really, Ray, you are so demanding. You've clearly been spoiled by all the Nikon accessories nonsense. Embrace the back to basics challenge! :wine:

Hello boys.

Yes, I'm back from another adventure on the high seas. Ok, working on a ferry. Not had much chance to look at the forum as my internetting has been mainly on my phone.

Well, welcome back... You're right that this isn't the forum to check on your phone :-)
