It's not just the contents but the amount of contents, the amount of stuff Kay gets in hers amazes me.

Jan went to the doctor some years ago with a persistent severe pain in the neck (no not me this time!) and the doctor asked to see her handbag. He emptied its contents on his desk and handed it back to her empty saying "try that for a week and see how you get on". She has stopped carrying a handbag ever since...though she is stuffing her Lowepro holster with alsorts of creams and wipes and stuff!
