Still haven't found a speck on my D600 and it's around 2500 pix.

I still get occasional dust spots but I put this down to frequent lens changes. My D600 has about 2000 exposures on its clock. Apparently the problem clears itself around 2500-4500 exposures but I cant confirm this from personal experience. Another few months of use required.

I have a few zoom lenses that I frequently change and still no problems. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Took it into the dealer and it is going in to Nikon Canada for a shutter replacement and a warranty claim on the battery which is at 4 condition with 2702 activations. He is also going to work out a price for a trade of the repaired D600 on a D800E.

Sorry to hear your D600 is still giving problems with dust. Got to say that I do use my Nikons less these days but the D600 is a definite got to camera, especially over the D800. Dont get me wrong the D800 is superb but I find 36MP is too much and 24MP just right. If my Fujis were 24MP then they would be perfect but 16/18MP is not so far off but you can see the difference at times.

Haven't completely decided yet. Don't do enough to have both, may wait and see what kind of upgrades Nikon will come up with for the D800's. I seem to recall that one is due fairly soon.

D600 returned last week and a checkout showed numerous specks on the sensor. Called Nikon service and they emailed a prepaid UPS lable. Will have to wate again, good thing I'm not travelling for a while. In the meantime the D520 gets a workout ;~).

After a third return to Nikon for sensor dirt and dead pixils, they are replacing it with a D610, that will should be here by Friday. Hope this one works out better.
