I am wishing for some of this at Christmas…but most unlikely. In fact I am not sure we will ever see snow again I this area. We were watching an programme about the 1962 big freeze. Reminiscing about the silence that heavy snowfalls seem to bring. In my youth in Yorkshire it was common place to have days with a foot or more snow on pavements, trying to tread in others footsteps.
