Can I ask….did you use Camera raw’s denoise feature for that image?

I confess I use it frequently on low light images because the A1 sensor seems to have too much colour noise…especially reds. It’s about my only critique of the camera.

Just found a long lost memory casd in a case with some Nikon D500 Raw files I had never bothered to save after looking at them on camera the day I traded it in for Sony 
and these Canadas look rather fun?

A good friend of mine took this photo on his phone while walking the dog early one morning after recent flooding.

He told me that the geese that usually feed on the farmland were absent ....washed to higher ground. 

He bemoaned their absence as he could have done with "a skein of geese flying over, to add more drama".

His wish was my command......
