Is the water still able to feed it?
No the leat that supplied the water from the river via a sluice was ceased in the 1930s but I can pump water from the river (St Austell river - White river) in front of house but only if the river is in full stream after a lot of rain.

Seeing that image again made me wonder why “miles per hour” was displayed as mpH rather than mph?
My guess is that the signwriter had no stencil for h and used the stencils for 1 and made up their own H - see the top of the L, I would expect the tops of the H to be the same style if it really was an H.
It was on the Sandringham estate. You would expect their signwriter to have a surplus of Hs for HRH.
He had an “m”…… half of it would be an “n”…. which when added to the “1” ….would have created a half decent lowercase “h”.
Sloppy workmanship

Full frame sensor is not cost effective as it would cost as much as a new camera.
Design does need refinement but I guess since it is a small Swiss company there is not enough money.
3D printing requirement is only for a very limited number of cameras.

I see your point on the costs….and I am sure the latest Nikons do match or improve to some extent on models like the D850. My point is more that I no longer need or hanker for all the whizz and bang capabilities that manufacturers are now adding to cameras.
Sad though it may be, to some extent I have lost a lot of my passion and drive for “going out to take photos”.
Now… it’s taking any lightweight camera with me when I go out to do other things just in case. In that scenario, having an expensive top of the range camera is pointless overkill. A camera that feels good in the hand, is compact, that I understand and takes decent snaps is all I need.
I have to admit that I don't always have the enthusiasm I once did. I still carry two cameras and shoot lots but sometimes I just want to watch. I haven't seriously considered mirrorless, I don't need most of what Nikon have put into the Z9 and certainly not at current used prices. Maybe when the Z9 II arrives...

The sharpest mirrorless combo I have used is the Olympus om1 with a 300mm f4 which takes 1.4 and 2x tc’s with no ill effects and gives in FF terms a effective 600/840/1200mm reach I have lots of sample shots at all these lengths . You do lose the flexibility of the zoom though .and the best alternative is there big white lens which is upwards of 6K .
My lad has just bought a canon R7 with a 200-800 rf lens and is really struggling to get decent results with it , there to my mind have been a lot of experimental bodies and lens combos produced by both canon and Nikon over the last few years to leapfrog into the mirrorless world ..
A lot of problems I feel tends to be older owners not coping with complex menus either combined with weight issues as the user marketplace tends to be the older generation
The plethora of menu items and choices does make setup difficult and tedious. The advantage is a full set of settings can be saved to one of four Photo Bank in camera so when the banks are all setup it is easy to swap between the setups.
I also think that people expect mirrorless to be lighter than a DSLR, it may be lighter but not by a significant amount especially with long telephotos attached.

Over the last several years I have either owned or used virtually every lens that works on Olympus both micro four thirds and four thirds with the odd Panasonic ones thrown in . I can honestly say I have yet to find a faulty or bad copy of any of them ,some rely on lens i.s others on I.b.i.s and some a combination of both .
Each to there own I suppose

Yes I updated to the new v3.0 firmware this morning.
Iain, this firmware should be really good for you as it allows focus limiting which great for birding.
I noticed that. I will get a chance of trying that later.
